Obituary for William E. Clark
WILLIAM E. "BILL" CLARK, 60, of 811 " 20th Avenue, Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at the home of his son in Clinton, IA. Bill was born January 23, 1945, in East St. Louis, IL, to William A. and Clella A. (McKee) Clark. He was educated in the Park Grade School, Clark Junior High School and graduate of East St. Louis High School. He married Rose M. Honn on February 18, 1965 in Belleville, IL. He was employed by 3M in Cordova, IL for 331/2 years as a supervisor, retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Fulton Presbyterian Church; former member of Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #363 in Clinton. He had been a member of several area bands, including Welkins Express, New Ephony and the Whiskey River Band. He enjoyed traveling, camping, bowling and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife Rose; six sons, Mike Shepard of Conover, NC, Mitch (Peg) Shepard of Morrison, IL, Mark (Patti) Shepard of Fulton, IL, Matt (Cristina) Shepard of Alexandria, VA, Bill (Chris) Clark Jr. of Fulton, IL and Jeff Clark of Clinton, IA; thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Joan (Mrs. Bill) Menn of Belleville, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
