Obituary for Valissa L. Bearsley
VALISSA L. BEARSLEY, 49, of Savanna, IL, died Friday, May 12, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center North in Clinton, IA.Valissa was born December 22, 1967 in Savanna, IL, to Larry G. and Jean Lou (Woodyatt) Bearsley. She was educated in the Savanna schools. Valissa was a woman of many trades and talents and had worked as cook at Bootlegger Too and a bartender at C Js, both in Savanna, and more recently as house painter, and landscaper. She was a talented artist and loved to draw, paint and dance. She had a friendly, outgoing personality, and her heart of gold made her many wonderful friends.Survivors include one daughter, Demi Hess of Mt. Carroll, IL; one son, John Krughel III of Davenport, IA; four sisters, Sonya Alden of Rock Falls, IL, Michelle (Scott) Miller of Hanover, IL, Kris (Larry) Specht of Tampico, IL and Polly Klitz of Savanna; three brothers, Steve (Kathy) Bearsley of Albany, IL, Brett (Terri) Bearsley and Kerry Klitz, both of Savanna; many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Viki Rodisel; two brothers, Bryan Bearsley and Sammy Klitz; a brother-in-law, Don Heman.
