Obituary for Stephen A. Wiersema
STEPHEN A. STEVE WIERSEMA, 63, of Sauk Valley Senior Living Rehabilitation, Rock Falls, IL, formerly of Fulton, IL, died Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Sauk Valley Senior Living Rehabilitation.Steve was born June 19, 1953, in Clinton, IA, to Wilbur Bill Raymond and Bonnie Jean (Tiffany) Kent Wiersema. He was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools and attended Fulton High School. He had served in the U. S. Navy. Steve was employed as a groundskeeper for golf courses in Hawaii and Florida. He enjoyed sports, collecting baseball cards and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.Survivors include two sisters, Deb (Alan) Christopher of Fulton, IL and Denise (Gary) Bush of Lyndon, IL; one brother, Kerry (Marge) Wiersema of Clinton, IA; one sister-in-law, Becki Wiersema of Lisbon, IA.He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Rick Wiersema.
