Obituary for Sally K. Pessman
SALLY K. PESSMAN, 64, of Kalona, IA, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at her home.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no visitation or funeral service; a private graveside service at the Garden Plain Cemetery in Fulton, IL, will be held at a later date. The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A memorial to the American Cancer Society has been established.
Sally was born November 27, 1956, in Clinton, IA, to Wesley J. and Alberta K. (Wierenga) Pessman. She was educated in the Garden Plain Grade School and was a graduate of Fulton High School. Sally was first employed at Drives, Inc. in Fulton. She then was a long haul truck driver, and lastly she was employed by Loparex in Iowa City, IA for 30 years, retiring in 2015.
Survivors include two brothers, Gregg (Ellen) Pessman and Jeff (Jacklynn) Pessman, both of Fulton; five nieces and nephews, thirteen great nieces and nephews and a best friend and caregiver, Marilyn Bell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sue Ann Pessman.
