Obituary for Ricky E. Engelkins
RICKY E. ENGELKINS, 47, of 538 " - 10th Avenue S., Clinton, IA, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center North in Clinton, IA. Ricky was born July 23, 1960, in Morrison, IL, to Bernard J. and Dorothy M. (Geerts) Engelkins. He was educated in the Fulton, IL grade schools and attended Fulton High School. He was employed by the J.E. Merritt Construction and later for Gethmann Construction Company. Ricky enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting. Survivors include one son, Tyler Engelkins, of Dixon, IL; his father, Bernard Engelkins of Fulton, IL; one sister, Vicki Steward of Brandon, FL; two brothers, Jerry (Diane) Engelkins of Morrison, IL and Steve (Alice) Engelkins of Andrew, IA; his companion, Joan Housenga, of Clinton, IA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Engelkins.
