Obituary for Pauline Stratton
PAULINE S. STRATTON, 89, of 601 22nd Avenue, Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, August 12, 2009, in her home. Pauline was born October 23, 1919, in Clinton, IA, to Paul and Helena (Jurgensen) Gladhill. She was educated in the Clinton, IA grade schools. She married Robert Stratton on May 27, 1939 in Clinton, IA. He died March 21, 1985. She was a homemaker. Survivors include four daughters, Ella Mae Johnson of Clinton, IA, Georgia (Lawrence) Isaacson of Morrison, IL, Roberta Yates of Clinton, IA and Shirley Sherman of Fulton, IL; fourteen grandchildren, Rick Johnson, Gail (Gary) Cassaday, Cathy (Lee) Dague, Yvonne (Mervin) Fitzwater, Robert (Shelly) Isaacson, Margo (Joe) Kern, Gregory Isaacson, Nancy (Derek) Dinning, Tracy Corridor, John Siragusa, Paula (Kelly) Iburg, Jodie (Kelly) Hitchcock, Deniece Kelly, Dale Sherman; many great grandchildren; three sisters, Donna (Dave) Reifsnider of Clinton, IA, Alberta (John) Wiebenga of Sterling, IL and Eleanor Kraft of Clinton, IA; one brother: Robert Gladhill of New York. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert; three sons-in-law, Dale Sherman, Eldon Johnson and Fay Yates.
