Obituary for Minnie Jo Vigen
MINNIE JO VIGEN, 78, of 510 Jenkran, Morrison, IL, died Wednesday June 1, 2011 at Morrison Community Hospital. Minnie was born October 29, 1932, in Ewing, IL, to Raymond and Jewell (Martin) Hodge. She graduated from Manlius High School in Manlius, IL. She marred Robert S. Vigen on August 3, 1957, in Morrison. Minnie worked at General Electric in Morrison for ten years before becoming a homemaker. She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Morrison. She was an avid crafter and enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society. Survivors include her husband, Robert; one son, Steve Vigen of Morrison; three sisters; three brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents.
