Obituary for Mary E. Anneberg
MARY E. ANNEBERG, 97, of Resthave Nursing Home, Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at the nursing home. Mary was born January 18, 1908 in St. Edward, NE, to William H. and Frances (Silsby) Parker. She was a graduate of Parsons College in Iowa with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Sciences. She married Dr. A. Reas Anneberg on March 24, 1932 in Carroll, IA. He died November 19, 1990. Following her marriage, she lived in Carroll, IA, moving to Morrison in 1977 to be near her family. Mary had been employed as a teacher and social worker prior to retirement. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Morrison, the church"s choir, and United Presbyterian Women. She also was a member of the P.E.O. Sorority. Survivors include two daughters, Martha Anneberg of Sterling, IL and Bertha (Mrs. Larry) Eliasen of Morrison, IL; two grandchildren, Mary (Mrs. Michael) Brown of Clinton, IA and Lonny (Shawnelle) Eliasen of Port Byron, IL; eight great grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, and Kristie Stinson; Logan, Grant, Samuel, and Gabriel Eliasen; Maggie (Mrs. Chris) Wright; two great great grandchildren, Emma Pease and Isabella Wright. She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Adrian Anneberg; two sisters, Ruth Given and Rebecca Parker; and one brother, Jesse Parker.
