Obituary for Lorraine L. Musk
LORRAINE L. MUSK, 82, of 1104 " - 4th Street, Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center North in Clinton, IA. Lorraine was born November 4, 1925, in Newberry, MI, to Frederick and Delia (Schafter) Lyons. She was educated in the Thomson Grade School in Thomson, IL and graduated from Fulton High School in 1943. She married Dr. E. Ervin Musk on June 25, 1950 in Fulton. He died November 11, 2002. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fulton, IL. She was a charter member of the Quad Cities Cardinal Fan Club, a member of the Fulton American Legion Auxiliary and an active member of the Plus 55 Bowling League in Clinton, IA. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Ann (Mrs. Stanley) Giddings of Morrison, IL, Margaret Musk of Fulton, IL and Jean (Mrs. Donald) Dettman of Newton, IA; six grandchildren, Nathan and Todd Giddings, Emma, Jacob, Mitchell and Aubrey Dettman; three great grandchildren, Cody, Blake and Tyler Giddings; one sister, Mary (Mrs. Bernard) Housenga of Fulton, IL; one brother, Robert Lyons of Waterford, CT. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin; one son, in infancy; one sister, Helen Heffernan; two brothers, Joseph and Fred Lyons (both in infancy).
