Obituary for Lawrence Larry L. Marshang
LAWRENCE "LARRY" L. MARSHANG, 54, of 15499 Mohawk Road, Lyndon, IL, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at his home. Larry was born January 10, 1959, in Sterling, IL, to Lyle and Leona (Williamson) Marshang. He was educated in the Sterling, IL grade schools and was a 1977 graduate of Sterling High School. Larry also completed the G.E. Apprenticeship Program in Morrison, IL. He married Rhonda J. Port on July 2, 1981, in Morrison, IL. He was employed by General Electric Company in Morrison, IL, until its closing. He was then employed at Climco Coils in Morrison, and was currently employed by Wahl Clipper in Sterling. In his younger years, Larry was passionate about riding motorcycles and raced motocross. He was a zealous fisherman and was a former member of the Whiteside Area Bass Club. Above all, Larry"s highest priority in life was his wife and sons. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda; two sons, Quinn and Logan Marshang; one sister, Wendy (Bob) Cesarek of New Port Richey, FL; two brothers, Jim (Cindy) Marshang of Lyndon, IL and Al Marshang of New York; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
PER LARRY"S REQUEST THERE WILL BE NO FUNERAL OR VISITATION.CREMATION RITES HAVE BEEN ACCORDED.THE MORRISON CHAPEL OF THE BOSMA-RENKES FUNERAL HOME IS IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
