Obituary for Larry L. Letcher
LARRY L. LETCHER, 76, of Fulton, IL, died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center North in Clinton, IA. Larry was born November 16, 1938, in Fulton, IL, to Forrest and Pearl (Morrow) Letcher. He was educated in the Fulton grade schools and was a 1957 graduate of Fulton High School. He married Ruth L. Brinkmeier on August 7, 1960 in Morrison, IL. Larry worked for Clinton Engineering in Clinton, IA, and then with the Riverbend School District in Fulton. He was a lifetime member of the Fulton Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Deb (Tom) Gramer of Fulton and Dawn (Harry) Petersen of Fulton; one son, Wesley (Michelle) Letcher of Fulton; six grandchildren, Brandon (Weatherly) Gramer, Jesse Gramer, Rachel Gramer, Nicole Petersen, Neil Petersen and Nathan Letcher; five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: one in infancy and Jeanne Letcher; four brothers, Ronald Letcher, Melvin Letcher, Marion "Bud" Vogel and LaVerne Vogel.
