Obituary for Jenneth "Jan" Stage
Jenneth “Jan” Stage, 79, of Fulton, IL, died Sunday, April 18, 2021, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Zuithoff, Chaplain at CGH, officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, April 22, 2021, at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Upper York Cemetery in Argo Fay, IL. A memorial has been established.
Jan was born February 23, 1942, in Trimountain, MI, to Oscar and Phyllis (Wakeham) Ylitalo. She was educated in the Ontonagon, MI schools. She married Ronald D. Stage on May 2, 1991 in Las Vegas, NV. He survives. She retired from Fulton Corp in Fulton, IL. Jan loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed being outdoors, doing crossword puzzles and had an affection for her cat, Sassy. Jan delighted in traveling with her husband, Ron, especially to Michigan.
Survivors include her husband, Ron; three daughters, Tina (Robert) Hook, Dottie (Steven) Dornbush and Lora (Dave) Toureene all of Fulton, IL; one step daughter, Becky (Kevin) Webb of TN; one step son, Ron Stage, Jr of TN; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Robert and Mark Sullivan; one sister Judith Ylitalo; three brothers, Reggie Ylitalo in infancy, Emery Ylitalo and Ervin Ylitalo.
