Obituary for Jane Mann
JANE MANN, 79, of Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan Center, Prophetstown, IL, formerly of 18545 Lomax Road, Prophetstown, IL, died Monday, August 9, 2010 at the center. Jane was born August 14, 1930 in Dixon, IL, to Clay and Loraine (Jones) Bristow. She was educated in the Dixon grade schools and attended Dixon High School in Dixon, IL. Jane married Wayne Mann on September 20, 1947 in Harrisburg, IL. He died October 12, 2003. She was a telephone operator in Dixon. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and was devoted to taking care of her family. Survivors include two sons, Ed (Connie) Mann of Prophetstown, IL and Tommy (Tina) Mann of Ft. Pierce, FL; two daughters, Peggy Thompson and Karen Fiedler both of Vero Beach, FL; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one sister, Colleen (J.B.) Lange of Dixon, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne and her parents.
