Obituary for Harvie A. Lorke
HARVIE A. LORKE, 66, of 100 8th Avenue East. Lyndon, IL, died Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan Center, Prophetstown, IL. Harvie was born January 9, 1945 in Sterling, IL to Harvie and Sophia E. (Hall) Lorke. He was educated in the Sterling grade schools and was a 1963 graduate of Sterling High School. Harvie married Susan M. Ahrens on April 14, 1985 in Milledgeville, IL. He was employed by National Manufacturing in Sterling from 1963 until retiring in 2003. He attended the Trinity Lutheran Church in Milledgeville, IL. Survivors include his wife, Susan, an aunt, Betty Hall of Tucson, AZ; several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
