Obituary for Harry E. Traum
HARRY E. TRAUM, 95, of Morrison, IL, died Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Four Seasons Living Center in Morrison. Harry was born December 12, 1915, in Ustick Township, Whiteside, County, IL, to Harry and Nina (Pierce) Traum. He was educated in the Morrison grade schools and graduated from Morrison High School in 1933. He married Marion K. Hall in 1939 in Morrison. Harry worked as a machinist during World War II. He also was the superintendent of the Morrison Street and Water Department. Harry owned and operated Traum"s Plumbing in Morrison. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Morrison. Survivors include two sons, Harry (Trudy) Traum of Arvada, CO and Ray (Cecilia) Traum of Wauwatosa, WI; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Violet Petersen.
