Obituary for Harriett L. Stuart
HARRIETT L. STUART, 82, of 209 E. Wall Street in Morrison, IL died Friday, November 27, 2009 at Resthave Nursing Home in Morrison, IL. Harriett was born on November 15, 1927 in Sterling, IL to Everett and Jennie (Maberry) Fadden. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County Grade Schools and graduated from Morrison High School in Morrison, IL. She married Edward J. Stuart on July 9, 1945 in Morrison, IL. Harriett worked part time for Dr. Manchester in Morrison, IL as a receptionist. After the closing of the Doctor"s office, she went to work for Climco Coils in Morrison, IL where she retired. She was a member of the Morrison United Methodist Church and also a member of the United Methodist Women. She belonged to the Morrison VFW Women"s Auxiliary. Harriett enjoyed playing tennis and golf with her husband Edward. She also enjoyed traveling with her family when they were younger and later enjoyed traveling to see her family. Survivors include her husband, Edward; three daughters, Janice (Steve) Brunelle of Amherst, New Hampshire, Carol (Dave) Attig of Lyndon, IL, and JoEllyn (Barry) Lovett of Honolulu, HI; one son, Jerry (Barbara) Stuart of Keller, TX; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; one sister, Audrey Fadden of Sterling, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Vella Fadden.
