Obituary for Gladys B. Null
GLADYS B. NULL, 97, of Pleasant View Nursing Home, Morrison, IL, died Sunday, July 2, 2006 at the nursing home. Gladys was born September 13, 1908, in Morrison, IL, to George and Pluma (Hewlett) Beswick. She was educated in the Morrison Grade and High School and attended Northern IL and Cornell College, where she received her teaching certificate. She married Kenneth Null on May 11, 1941. He died October 30, 1992. For many years she worked as a substitute teacher in area schools. She was a member of the Morrison United Methodist Church and was involved in the Priscilla Ruth Circle. Survivors include one daughter, Alice Kay Null, of Morrison; four nieces, Mrs. Mary Peterson of Morton, IL, Nancy (Mrs. Ron) Geguzys of Aurora, IL, Barbara (Mrs. Robert) Hahn of Morrison, and Pat (Mrs. Howard) Mills of Morrison; one nephew, David (Gloria) Voland of Park Forest, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth.
