Obituary for Eloise I. Rauser
ELOISE I. RAUSER, 90, of Trinity Center at Luther Park, Des Moines, IA, formerly of Morrison, IL, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Trinity Center at Luther Park. Eloise was born November 16, 1924, in Mt. Pleasant Township, IL, to Ernest and Elsie (Schroeder) Remmers. She was educated in the Morrison grade schools and graduated from Morrison Community High School in 1942. She married Donald C. Rauser on December 19, 1945, in Chadwick, IL. He died January 21, 2014. Eloise was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Morrison, and the church"s WELCA. She enjoyed volunteering at church and raising African violets. Survivors include one daughter, Kathy (Glenn) Vogel of Ithaca, NY, two sons, Larry (Diane) Rauser of Ankeny, IA and Kent (Lori) Rauser of Scottsdale, AZ; two grandchildren, Daniel (Danielle) Rauser, Daryl (Alissa) Rauser; five great grandchildren, Dylan, Tyson, Tegan, Dredan and Braxton Rauser; one sister-in-law, Donna Remmers of Milledgeville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; one brother, Carroll Remmers.
