Obituary for Dwight L. Kettler
DWIGHT L. KETTLER, 89, of Morrison, IL died Monday, September 10, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, IA. Dwight was born November 7, 1922 in Fulton, IL to Garrett M. and Gertrude (Buikema) Kettler. He was a graduate of Fulton High School in Fulton, IL. He served in the the U.S. Navy for 4 years during WWII. He married Margaret (Badtke) Pannier on November 3, 1972 in Morrison, IL. Dwight retired from Clinton Corn Processing Company in 1982 after 36 years of service. He was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Morrison and a member of the Fulton American Legion Post #402. Dwight enjoyed golfing, gardening, fishing, and attending church. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; one son, Gary (Carol) Kettler of Clinton, IA; two stepsons, Everett (Nancy) Pannier of Morrison, IL and Kenneth (Ellen) Pannier of Prophetstown, IL; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and one sister, Winnifred J. Kettler of Fulton, IL. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Bernice Vannini, Gertrude Kettler, and Annalene Koenes; two brothers, Paul and LeRoy J. Kettler.
