Obituary for Donald Shambaugh
DONALD J. SHAMBAUGH, 69, of 606 North Cherry Street, Morrison, IL died Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at his home. Donald was born on December 15, 1939 in Kewanee, IL to Wilmer and Bernadine (Sckrabulas) Shambaugh. He was educated in the Kewanee area schools. He married Lawanda L. Carlson on August 12, 1960 in Florence, AL. Donald worked at Hunter"s Body Shop in Morrison, IL and along with his wife Lawanda, owned and operated Shambaugh Upholstery. He enjoyed fishing, mud racing and street rods. Survivors include his wife, Lawanda; three sons, Don (fianc" Heidi Kieso) Shambaugh Jr. of Maquoketa, IA, Ron (fianc" Shawn Forbes) Shambaugh of Morrison, IL, Tom (Cindy) Shambaugh of Morrison, IL; three grandchildren, Kyle, Tiffany and Tyler Shambaugh; two sisters, Bonnie and Christy; one brother, Wilmer Shambaugh of Kewanee, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert and Lawrence Shambaugh.
