Obituary for Dan E. Bielema
DAN E. BIELEMA, 53, OF 18725 Sand Road, Fulton, IL, died Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center North in Clinton, IA. Dan was born July 30, 1952, in Clinton,IA to Kenneth and Jacqueline (Brondyke) Bielema. He was educated in the Unity Christian Schools in Fulton, and graduated from Fulton High School in 1970. He was employed by Commonwealth Edison at the Cordova Nuclear Power Generating Facility for 32 years, retiring in 2002. Dan was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Clinton, IA and the Fulton Lions Club. He was a dedicated St. Louis Cardinals Fan, a devoted father and grandfather and a loving "daddy" to Sophie, Buttons and Duke. Survivors include two daughters, Carrie (Mrs. Kurt) Fanderclai of Clinton, IA and Jessi (Mrs. Nate) Shambaugh of Windsor Heights, IA; three grandchildren, Kyra Fanderclai; Eric and Ryan Shambaugh; his father, Kenneth Bielema of Fulton, IL; four brothers, Tom Bielema, Russ (Sandie) Bielema, Steve Bielema and John (Deb) Bielema, all of Fulton, IL; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and his Auntie Jo Oostenryk.
