Obituary for Bessie E. Bush
BESSIE E. BUSH, 93, of Lyndon, IL, died Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan Center in Prophetstown, IL.Bessie was born November 18, 1922, in Morrison, IL, to Bert and Hannah (Eaby) Johnson. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County grade schools. Her first marriage was to Floyd N. Welch. On December 10, 1966 she married Raymond Tootie Bush in Las Vegas, NV. He died May 7, 1996. Bessie was employed by the former Volckmann Furniture Factory in Morrison. Later she worked for Hughes Aircraft Corp. in Costa Mesa, CA. Bessie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Morrison.Survivors include one son, Kenneth Welch of Lyndon, IL; one granddaughter, Heather Hufman. She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Floyd Welch and Raymond Bush; one grandson, Brian Welch in infancy.
