Obituary for Arlene M. Rennecker
ARLENE M. RENNECKER, 82, of 12929 Albany Road, Albany, IL, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center North in Clinton, IA. Arlene was born December 5, 1923, in Hopkins Township, Whiteside County, IL. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County schools. She married Kenneth W. "K.W." Rennecker on July 23, 1941 in Fulton, IL. He died on June 17, 1993. Arlene was employed by the General Electric Company in Morrison, IL. Following her retirement, she worked at Julie"s Caf" in Albany, IL. Her hobbies and interests included baking, tending her flowers and collecting owls. She enjoyed her two cats and visits to the boat. Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Ann (Mrs. Dutch) Letcher and Cheri (Mrs. Chuck) Dornbush, both of Albany, IL; one son, Rusty (Emalie) Rennecker of Morrison, IL; five grandchildren, Chad Letcher, Andy (Kim) Dornbush, Amy Dornbush, Jason and Reesa Rennecker; three great grandchildren, Kali Letcher, Brittany Lohberg and Blake Dornbush; one sister, Viola (Mrs. Robert) Parkinson of Morrison, IL; one brother, Donald (Martha) Dauen of Clinton, IA; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Lawrence and Shirley Swanson, both of Albany, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, K.W.; one daughter in infancy; one granddaughter in infancy; two sisters.
