Obituary for Alice C. Sinnott
ALICE C. SINNOTT, 88, of Resthave Nursing Home, Morrison, IL, died Thursday, December 11, 2008 at the nursing home. Alice was born December 24, 1919 in Tarrytown, NY to Arthur and Alice (Taxter) Brophy. She was a graduate of Tarrytown High School. Alice married John F. "Jack" Sinnott on August 11, 1946 in Tarrytown, NY. He died February 2, 2002. She was employed by General Electric in Morrison, IL from 1955 until 1961. She was a member of St. Mary"s Catholic Church in Morrison and was also an avid golfer. A memorial has been established to the church. Survivors include a son, Jack Sinnott of Fairbury, IL; three grandsons, Mark (Jenny) Sinnott, Mykel Sinnott, and Christopher Sinnott; and one sister, Mrs. Peg Norton of Croton, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack and one brother, Arthur Brophy.
