Obituary for Marilyn L. Lamb
MARILYN L. HOUSEMAN LAMB, 72, of Sterling, IL, died Sunday, June 18, 2017 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.Marilyn was born May 17, 1945 in Morrison, to Robert and Lorraine B. (Rick) Housman. She was educated in the Morrison grade schools and was a graduate of Morrison High School. She earned a Masters in Nursing from the University of Dubuque Dubuque, IA. Marilyn was employed by GCH Hospitals in Sterling, as the Director of Home Health Care. She enjoyed sewing and tending to her indoor plants. She also loved to travel.Survivors include one daughter, Cathy (Brian) Brackemyer of Lanark, IL; one son, Marty Lamb of Sterling; four grandchildren, Zachary (Jamie) Brackemyer, Chase Brackemyer, Michael Lamb and Melissa (Mike) Melton; seven great grandchildren, Stella and Lucy Brackemyer, Eric, Josh, and Andrew Melton, Totie and Levi Lamb; two sisters and one brother.Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Barbara Heusinkveld.
