Obituary for Micheal L. Leif
MICHEAL L. LEIF, 26, of Fulton, IL, died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at his home in Fulton. Micheal was born March 11, 1986, in Clinton, IA, to Dennis "Mike" and Veneta (Arnold) Leif. He was a 2004 graduate of Fulton High School in Fulton. He had held various mechanic positions in the Clinton, IA area. While still in high school he worked for Bluff Service. He then worked at Molded Fiber in Clinton. Most recently he was a mechanic at home, working on anything and everything. Micheal enjoyed racing and he traveled all over for lawn mower, stock car and go-cart races. He was a member of the Tampico Lawn Mower Racing Association. He loved anything with wheels. Survivors include his parents, Mike and Veneta Leif, of Fulton, IL; two sisters, Michele Leif, of Clinton, IA, Sally (Chad) Christiansen of Delmar, IA; his maternal grandmother, Glena Ramsey of West Plaines, MO; nieces and nephews Rachel Leif, Ciara Leif, Emily Horst, Katie Christiansen, Charlie Horst and Riley Christiansen; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, LaVern and Vala Leif.
