Obituary for Agnes E. Glazier
AGNES E. GLAZIER, 78, of 804 W. LeFevre Road, Sterling, IL, died Saturday, October 22, 2011 at St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford, IL. Agnes was born May 5, 1933 in Sterling, IL, to John K. and Dora (Hinrichs) Johnson. She was educated in the Lyndon Grade Schools and was a graduate of Lyndon High School in Lyndon, IL. Agnes married Harold F. Glazier on August 15, 1964 in Morrison. She was first employed in the egg department of the A&P Grocery Store and later was employed by National Bank both in Sterling. She was a member of St. Peter"s Lutheran Church in Morrison and a longtime Sunday School teacher. She was active as a room mother for the Prophetstown Elementary School and assisted with the Lyndon Cub Scouts. Survivors include her husband, Harold; one son, Kurt (Roxanne) Glazier of Sterling, IL; two grandchildren, Samantha and Sydney Glazier; three step grandchildren, Danielle and Derek Wade and Rayce Yohn; and one sister, Julia Settles of Hampton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents.
