Obituary for Robert J. Pruis
ROBERT J. "BOB" PRUIS, 51, of 109 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL, died Monday, April 19, 2010 at Morrison Community Hospital, Morrison, IL. Bob was born April 3, 1959 in Morrison, IL, to Harry Pruis and Marlene (Stern) Ottens. He was educated in the Morrison Grade Schools and was a 1978 graduate of Morrison High School. Bob was self employed. He was a baptized member of the St. Peter"s Lutheran Church in Morrison. Bob was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed riding his bicycle and camping. He was both a Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Cubs fan. Survivors include his father, Harry (Eileen) Pruis of Morrison; his mother, Marlene (Dick) Ottens of Morrison; two sisters, Cheryl Bush and Nora Pruis both of Morrison; one brother, Tim (Marlene Franzen) Pruis of DeWitt, IA; grandmother, Nellie Douma of Morrison; one step sister, Jackie (Craig) Winkler of Raymond, IA and one step brother, Steve (Deanna) Ottens of Rock Falls, IL; three nieces, Tara Bush, Typhani Pruis, and Maddie Winkler; three nephews, Brent and Ryan Pruis, and Jason Bush. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.
