RUTH S. BURCHILL, of Bluff Terrace Nursing Home, Clinton, IA, died Saturday, October 20, 2007 at the nursing home. Ruth was born in Frankenmuth, MI to Ernest H. and Mathilda (Prescott) Strieter. She was educated in the Chicago, IL schools. Ruth married William J. Burchill in Chicago and he died October 22, 1976. She was a member of St. John"s Lutheran Church in Clinton, IA where she was involved with the Ladies Aid. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by nine sisters and three brothers.
