Obituary for Jean E. Kraft
JEAN E. KRAFT, 88, of Morrison, IL, died Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Resthave Home in Morrison.
At her request, Jean’s body has been donated to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois. There will be no funeral service or visitation. The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Jean was born October 28, 1929 in Detroit, MI, to William J. and Elizabeth (Daniel) Gartner. She was a graduate of Melvindale High school in Melvindale, MI, and received a bachelor of education degree from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI. Jean married John Wilson on August 28, 1953 in Michigan. He died on August 28, 1986. She later married Norman Kraft on June 1, 1987 in Livonia, MI. He died in March of 1992. Jean was a school teacher with the Dearborn School System in Dearborn, MI for over thirty years. She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, IL
Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth (Dennis Gilkey) Knapp of Fort Pierce, FL, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, John Wilson; her second husband, Norman Kraft; and two brothers, Dan Gartner and Rev. Allen Gartner.
