Obituary for Rickey Lee Milnes
RICKEY LEE MILNES, 62, of Fulton, IL, died Saturday, April 25, 2020, at his home.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison, IL. A memorial to St. Jude Children’s Hospital has been established.
Rickey was born June 7, 1957, in Sterling, IL, to Ronald F. and Virginia “Ginny” F. (Bowen) Milnes. He was educated in the Morrison Grade Schools and was a 1976 graduate of Morrison High School. Rickey was employed for 43 years at WestRock in Clinton, IA. He was a member of the Morrison United Methodist Church in Morrison. Rickey enjoyed golfing, playing softball, bowling, and was an avid fisherman. He was an avid Cardinals fan.
Survivors include one sister, Debra (Rich) Dunaway of Morrison; one brother, Dan (Kathy) Milnes of Morrison; three stepbrothers, Shannon Kimmer, Allan (Sara) Kimmer, and Rowdy Kimmer all of Clinton, IA; one son, Justin Stolk of Elvira, IA; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Faye “Ginny” Kimmer; father, Ronald F. Milnes; and stepfather, James E. Kimmer.
