Obituary for Wendy M. Groharing
WENDY M. GROHARING, 47, of 8028 Spring Valley Road, Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center North in Clinton, IA. Wendy was born April 20, 1965, to Daniel and Norma (Paisley) Dauphin. She was educated in the Savanna, IL grade schools and graduated from Savanna High School in 1983. She married Thomas S. Groharing on February 10, 1988 in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Wendy was the manager of True Value Home and Building in Savanna, working there for 28 years. She was a member of Spring Valley Reformed Church, Fulton, IL. She was a member of the Carroll County Farm Bureau and also was a Girl Scout Leader. Wendy was very involved with her children"s sporting and scouting activities. Survivors include her husband, Thomas; one daughter, Brittany Groharing and one son, Dylan Groharing, both at home; one granddaughter, Brooklyn Moeller; two sisters, Deborah (Mike) Leahy of Clinton, IA and Tina (Leo) Zemke of Mt. Carroll, IL; one brother, Scott (Virginia Watts) Dauphin of North Richland Hills, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents.
