Obituary for Wayne A. Sanders
WAYNE A. SANDERS, 60, of Morrison, IL died Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, IA. Wayne was born July 4, 1951 in Morrison, IL to John W. and Bernadine (Bielema) Sanders. He was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools and graduated from Fulton High School in Fulton, IL. He also graduated from Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, IL. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Wayne married Laura Fried on August 8, 1975 in Elgin, ND. He retired from General Electric in Morrison in 2005. Survivors include his wife, Laura; three sons and one daughter, Jamie (Layla) Sanders of Clinton, IA; Melissa (David) Peterson of Port Byron, IL; Joshua Wayne Sanders of Morrison, IL and Jaaron Sanders of Morrison, IL; six grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Bernadine Sanders of Morrison, IL; one sister, Kristi David of Savanna, IL; three brothers, Terry Sanders of Georgia; Stephen Sanders of Morrison, IL and Timothy Sanders of Albany, IL. He was preceded in death by his father.
