Obituary for Tommye L. Nunziato
TOMMYE L. NUNZIATO, 60, of Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life service is planned for January 13, 2018 at St. Peters Lutheran Church, 601 North Jackson St., Morrison, IL 61270. A memorial has been established by the family and should be sent to the church.
Celebration will be as follows:
10:00am – 10:30am – Time for visitation and sharing.
10:30am – 11:15am – Celebration worship service.
11:15am – 1:30pm - Celebration of Life open house and luncheon.
Tommye was born October 7, 1957 in Waco, TX to Tom and Willie Fay (Latham) Thomson. She married George R. Nunziato on August 27, 1983 in Morrison. Tommye was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Morrison. She enjoyed bowling, playing softball and singing in the Church’s choir over the years. Tommye was well loved for supplying an over abundance of delicious food to family, friends and anyone in need. She treasured tradition and cherished the time she had with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, George; one daughter, Rachael (Jason) Essary of Sherrard, IL; four grandchildren, Alexis and Dawson Essary and Michael and Nicholas Nunziato; and one sister Sherrie (John) Guthrie of Paragon, IN.
