Obituary for Tomi Jean Tillman
TOMI JEAN TILLMAN, 63, of Morrison, IL, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at Mercy Living Center South, Clinton, IA, after a courageous battle with cancer. Tomi was born on May 28, 1949, in Morrison, IL, to Charles and Doris L. (Mort) Musch. She was educated in the Morrison grade schools and graduated from Morrison High School in 1967. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University. She married Barry L. Tillman in August of 1972 in Morrison. Tomi was employed by Whiteside County offices for 30 years. Most recently, she worked for the State of Illinois Appellate Court Judge Vicki Wright. She enjoyed going on wine trips and she loved her two Chihuahuas, Sgt. Puppers and Day Tripper. She often vacationed with her granddaughter, Ryan. Survivors include one daughter, Charlie (Tom) Melton of Morrison, IL; one son, Justin (Lisa) Tillman of Naperville, IL; five grandchildren, Ryan Tillman, Tommy and Danny Melton, Collin and Cara Tillman; one sister, Mary Jo Dunagan of Morrison, IL; one brother, Allen Musch of Oregon, IL. She is also survived by many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
