Obituary for Thomas D. Krontz
THOMAS D. KRONTZ, 61, of Thomson, IL, died Monday, March 12, 2018 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, IA.
Cremation rites have been accorded; there will be no funeral service. A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. A memorial has been established.
Tom was born July 25, 1956 in Leavenworth, KS, to Stanley and Elizabeth (Hudson) Krontz. He was educated in the Thomson, IL grade schools and was a graduate of Thomson High School. Tom was first employed by Drives Inc. in Fulton, and Metform in Savanna, IL and then by Custom Pak in Clinton, IA. He enjoyed attending car shows and showing his 1967 Camaro at them. He also enjoyed hunting, golfing, camping and riding his motorcycle. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include one daughter, Ashley (Steven) Leu of Fulton, IL; one son, Chad Krontz of Thomson, IL; four grandchildren, Landen and Daxten Leu, Corrine and Thomas Krontz; his parents, Stanley and Elizabeth Krontz; two sisters, Becky (Stephen) Atherton of Thomson, IL and Laura Banks of Aurora, IL; five brothers, Stanley (Sandi) Krontz of Mackinaw, IL, Michael (Linda) Krontz of Thomson, IL, Alan (Cindy) Krontz of Holiday Shores, IL, Kevin (Melissa) Krontz of Fulton, IL and Phillip Krontz of Polo, IL.
