Obituary for Tamara L. (Glazier) Menneke
TAMARA L. (Glazier) MENNEKE, 58, of Moline, IL, died Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, Morrison, IL, officiated by Rev. Ryan Sutton. A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday, April 11th at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fenton Cemetery – Fenton, IL. A memorial to the Abel Keppy Animal Hospital in Bettendorf, IA has been established.
Tamara was born July 5, 1962 in Clinton, IA to George and Ramona (Mercer) Glazier. She was a 1980 graduate of Morrison High School, and attended Capri College in Davenport, IA and Mount St. Clare College in Clinton, IA. She married Bruce Menneke on October 31, 2012 in Rock Island, IL. Tamara worked for several companies over the years, but was employed by Arconic in Davenport, IA for the last 10 years. Tamara was an animal lover. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, crafting and was an excellent cook and decorator.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce; one step-daughter, Angela Menneke of Republic, WA; her mother, Ramona Glazier of Morrison, IL; her mother-in-law, Sherri Menneke of DeWitt, IA; four siblings, Jeffrey Glazier of Goose Creek, SC, Angela (Eric) Rehmert of Owensville, MO, Phillip (Cindy) Glazier of Taylorville, IL and Jamie (Timothy) Schwingle of Sterling, IL; three sisters-in-law, Dawn Shreavs and Tammy Menneke, both of Sacramento, CA, and Vicki Shepard of Eldridge, IA; three nieces, two nephews, one great niece and one great nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Glazier; her father and mother-in-law, Allen and Donna Menneke; a sister-in-law, Elayne Glazier; her maternal grandparents, Howard and Verna Mercer; her paternal grandparents, Edwin and Mary Glazier.
