Obituary for Sid Pirate Stoecker
SID "PIRATE" STOECKER, 72, of Clinton, IA, died Saturday, March 24, 2012, at his home. Sid was born January 4, 1940, in Princeville, IL, to Adolph O. and Margaret C. (Dunbar) Stoecker. He was educated in the Atkinson grade schools in Atkinson, IL, and in 1958 he graduated from Fulton High School, in Fulton, IL. Sid had served in the U.S. Army. He married Sue Neal on August 18, 1990, in Las Vegas, NV. He was employed as a truck driver for various trucking companies. Most recently he was a union millwright for Local 2158. He was a founding member of the Fulton Saddle Club. Most recently he was a member of Hell"s Our Home Motorcycle Club " Clinton, IA. Survivors include his wife, Sue; one son, Andrew Richards of Fulton, IL; three step-daughters, Penny Scarbrough of Morrison, IL, Melissa Scarbrough of Moline, IL and Michelle (Eddie) Douglas of Morrison, IL; ten grandchildren; one sister, Kay (John) Thyne of Morrison, IL; four brothers, Lyle (Pat) Stoecker and Lynn (Deon) Stoecker, both of Morrison, IL, and Paul (Bev Green) Stoecker and Mark (Ruth) Stoecker, both of Fulton, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Joel Stoecker.
