Obituary for Shirley I. Schryver
SHIRLEY I. SCHRYVER, 73, of 401 3rd Avenue West, Lyndon, IL, died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at her home. Shirley was born August 9, 1936 in rural Milledgville, IL, to Harm and Anna (Bosum) Fredericks. She attended Morrison Grade Schools and Morrison High School. Shirley married Willard Schryver in 1955 in Whiteside County. They later divorced. She was employed at General Electric in Morrison, IL, retiring after 32 years. Shirley enjoyed fishing and hunting mushrooms. She also enjoyed camping. Survivors include her best friend of 40 years, Bob O"Bryan; two daughters, Valorie Schryver and Dawn (Chuck) Gorman; one son, Mark Schryver; four grandchildren, Nathan DeCrane, Michelle Link, Meagan Dirks, C.J. Gorman; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.
