Obituary for Sheryl Ann Burns
SHERYL ANN BURNS, 61, of Albany, IL, died Friday, January 7, 2011 at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton, IA. Sheryl was born August 18, 1949 in Clinton, IA, to Edward G. and Esther M. (Pugh) Charneski, Sr. She was educated in the Savanna, IL grade schools and attended Savanna and Fulton High Schools. Sheryl was first employed as a State Farm Insurance Representative in Savanna. She was then employed at Bush"s Caf" in Fulton, the Clinton Garment Company in Clinton, Buck"s Barn in Thomson and Ammon"s Landing in Albany. In her younger years, Sheryl enjoyed fast cars. She also enjoyed crocheting, shopping, and spending time with family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews. Survivors include her husband, Gary; two step children, Keith (Norma) King of Fulton, IL and Penny King-Fullick of Clinton, IA; three sisters, Lorraine (John) Bennett of Fulton, IL; Patricia (Ron) Paulline of Fulton, IL; and Kathy (Steve) Bearsley of Albany, IL; two brothers, Edward (Irene) Charneski of Fulton, IL and Rick Charneski of Clinton, IA; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Myrna V. Welch; and one nephew, Craig Charneski.
