Obituary for Sandra L. Jones
SANDRA L. JONES, 57, of Fulton, IL, died Monday, December 2, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, IA. Sandy was born December 6, 1955, in Clinton, IA, to Richard D. "Dick" and Norma R. (Bultema) Burns. She was educated in the Albany grade schools and graduated from Fulton High School in 1974. She then graduated from Clinton Community College with an Associate Degree in Business. Sandy married James A. Jones on November 1, 2002, in Morrison, IL. She worked at the Eagle River Liquor Store in Fulton, IL. Most recently, she was employed by GCA at the Exelon Nuclear Plant in Cordova, IL. Sandy loved to read books and enjoyed talking to everyone, making many friends. She also enjoyed computer games, spending time with her family, and the outdoors, especially her flowers. Survivors include her husband, Jim; two daughters, Jaime Aude of Clinton, IA and Julie Wright of Fulton, IL; one stepdaughter, Amanda (Joseph) DelCruz of Laredo, TX; one grandson, Alex Aude; three step grandchildren, Joseph III, Gabby, and Lucas DelCruz; three sisters, Carolyn Dolph of Albany, IL; Sherri Burns of Thomson, IL; and Lauri (Ron) Drobak of Fulton, IL; two brothers, Gary Burns of Albany, IL and William "Bill" (Susan) Burns of Cordova, IL; one stepsister, Deb (Duane) Wiese of Camanche, IA; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
