Obituary for Rosemary Fanderclai
ROSEMARY FANDERCLAI, 80, of the Sarah Harding Home in Clinton, IA, formerly of Fulton, IL, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at the Charwell House in Norwood, MA. Rosemary was born June 30, 1929, in Clinton, IA, to John E. and Nellie (Sikkema) Vanderploeg. She was educated in the Fulton grade schools and graduated from Fulton High School. She married Arthur L. Fanderclai on August 27, 1947 in Fulton, IL. He died June 10, 2002. Rosemary was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Reformed Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and active in the Priscilla and Hannah Circles. She was a supporter of the Fulton High School Music Booster Club and also tutored students while at the Sarah Harding Home. She was a crossword puzzle expert. Survivors include one daughter, Tari Fanderclai of Norwood, MA; two sons, Kurt (Carrie) Fanderclai of Bettendorf, IA and Mark (Misty) Fanderclai of Fulton, IL; four grandchildren, Benjamin and Samuel Fanderclai; Kyra and Tyler Fanderclai; one sister, Mrs. Doris Dykstra of Fulton, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; one daughter in infancy, Lorrie Fanderclai; one sister, Bernadine Durkee; two brothers, Edward and Palmer Vanderploeg.
