Obituary for Rose M. Clark
ROSE M. CLARK, 76, of Joplin, MO, formerly of Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Rose was born August 12, 1936, in St. Joseph, MI to John F. and Nellie L (Biggs) Honn. She was educated in the Muscatine grade schools, Muscatine, IA, and attended Davenport High School in Davenport, IA. She married William E. "Bill" Clark on February 18, 1965, in Belleville, IL. He died December 21, 2005. Later she married Edward W. Wright on September 3, 2011 in Joplin, MO. Rose was employed by General Electric in Morrison, IL for many years, until retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Fulton Presbyterian Church in Fulton, IL. She won the title of "Cherry Pie Queen of Iowa" in 1952. Survivors include her husband, Ed Wright; six sons, Mike (Rose) Shepard of Lebanon, MO, Mitch Shepard of Morrison, IL, Mark (Patti) Shepard of Fulton, IL, Matt Shepard of Fulton, IL, Bill (Chris) Clark Jr. of Albany, IL and Jeff (April)Clark of Clinton, IA; fifteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren; two sisters, Marian "Betty" Kitchen of Davenport, IA and Peggy Sue Files of Lebanon, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Clark; one daughter-in-law, Peg Shepard; two sisters, Darlyne Geach and Lorene Flagg.
