Obituary for Ronald K. Decker
RONALD K. DECKER, 57, of 10 Grove Street, Prophetstown, IL, died Thursday, October 27, 2005, as a result of an automobile accident. Ron was born May 17, 1948 in Morrison, IL, to William E. and Gladys E. (Silsbee) Decker. He was educated in the Morrison grade and high schools. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Survivors include one daughter, Alison Decker of Du Quoin, IL; three sons, Chad (Keri) Brown of Waxhaw, NC; William "Billie" Decker in the U.S. Army in Iraq; and Justin Decker of Du Quoin, IL; one grandson, Jaxon Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Shirley Decker and Lynne Lindstrom; and one brother, Lyle A. Decker.
