Obituary for Robert K. Cook Sr.
ROBERT K. COOK SR., 74, of Morrison, IL, died at home on Monday, December 3, 2018, surrounded by those he loved.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no visitation; a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Bob was born March 14, 1944 in Sioux City, IA, to Elmer Cook and Nellie (Lindstrom) Cook-Eads. He was educated in the Clystic Consolidated School in Whiteside County, IL. On August 11, 1978 he married Eileen V. Schipper in Morrison. Bob had worked as a sandblaster in Florida and later as a chef in Texas. Bob worked as a wood crafter out of his home in Morrison. He enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and especially celebrating the Christmas season with his family. Bob loved chatting with everyone and anyone.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen, children, including Ellen (Amanda) Cook and three other daughters; sons, Robert (Ariana) Cook Jr. and Dalton Cook; many grandchildren; sisters, Vickie (Jim) Carroll and Ellen Turner, and one brother, Larry (Mary) Eads.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Richard Lindstrom.
