Obituary for Richard J. Truitt
RICHARD J. TRUITT, 85, of Prophetstown, IL, died Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at Morrison Community Hospital, Morrison, IL. Richard was born March 13, 1928, in Albion, IL, to James and Phydella (Fryman) Truitt. He married Dorothy A. Hunt on March 21, 1958, in Prophetstown, IL. She died December 23, 1998. Richard retired from truck driving, working for different companies in the Prophetstown area. Survivors include one daughter, Kim (Troy) Wolf of China, MI; three daughters from a previous marriage, Mrs. Carlene Hall of Moline, IL, Charlene (Fred) Bowers of East Moline, IL, and Mrs. Pam Schwager of Andover, IL; many grandchildren with one special grandson, Joshua Wolf; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy; one daughter, Patty Truitt; three sisters, Ruby, Nina, and Jewel; three brothers, William Truitt, LeRoy Truitt, and James Truitt, Jr.
