Obituary for Ralph H. Green Jr.
RALPH H. "BUD" GREEN JR., 81, of Eagle Point Nursing Home in Clinton, IA, formerly of Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at the nursing home. Bud was born September 14, 1925, in Morrison, IL, to Ralph and Helen (Middleton) Green Sr. He was educated in the Morrison grade schools and attended Morrison High School. He married Audrey I. Kamphuis on February 22, 1947 in Clinton, IA. He was employed by the former Rich"s Toy Factory in Clinton, IA; the Morrison Candy Kitchen, Herman-Nelson and Gambles all of Morrison. Most recently he had been employed by Penberthy in Prophetstown, IL, retiring in 1988. Bud enjoyed watching his grandchildren"s school activities. Survivors include his wife, Audrey, of Morrison; one daughter, Janet (Mrs. Dale) Linders of Clinton, IA; one son, Ed (Jenny) Green of Clinton, IA; three grandchildren, Richard, Andrew and Carly Green; one sister, Viola (Earl) Eckstein of Albuquerque, NM. He was preceded in death by one son, Richard; one sister, Loretta Beneditti.
