Obituary for Phyllis R. Huizenga
PHYLLIS R. HUIZENGA, 80, of Resthave Nursing Home, Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL. Phyllis was born June 7, 1926 in Morrison, IL, to Peter L. and Alice (Logemeyer) Temple. She was educated in Morrison grade and high schools. She married Marvin Huizenga on May 10, 1944 in Morrison. He died July 27, 1994. Phyllis was employed at the Morrison Community High School Cafeteria. She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison and a member of the church"s Philethea Circle. Survivors include two daughters, Marcia (Mrs. Michael) Blean of Morrison and Nancy (Mrs. Willard) Bielema of Rockton, IL; two sons, Loren Huizenga of Minooka, IL and Allan (June) Huizenga of Stoughton, WI; eight grandchildren, Shad (Valerie) White, Bo (Tami) White, Jill (Brian) Folk, Michelle (John) Joseph, Molly (Nick) Kemmer, Matt Blean, Clint Huizenga and Jeff Huizenga; nine great grandchildren, Harrison White, Alister and Eliana White, Aaron and Evan Folk, Tyler and Jessica Joseph, Halley and Sam Kemmer; one sister, Mrs. Jean Valk of Morrison, IL and one brother, Warren (Loretta) Temple of Morrison, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Marvin.
