Obituary for Peter Schaver
PETER SCHAVER, 89, of 609 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Morrison Community Hospital, Morrison, IL. Pete was born August 29, 1921 in Fulton, IL, to William C. and Katie (Cooper) Schaver. He was educated in the rural Whiteside County grade schools. He married Florence L. (Milroy) Eads on May 10, 1957 in Morrison, IL. She died April 21, 1999. Pete was first employed as a farm hand for various local farmers. He then was employed by General Electric in Morrison for 30 years. Pete was a member of the Morrison United Methodist Church and was an avid Cubs fan. Survivors include one daughter, Linda Snyder of Morrison, IL; two sons, James Eads of Thomson, IL and Robert (Doris) Eads of Richland, NC; eleven grandchildren; four step grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Schaver of Fulton, IL; and his dog, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence; one son, Charles Eads; one grandson, Wade Eads; two sisters, Helen Koenes and Jeanette Dykema; two brothers, Claus and Marvin Schaver.
