Obituary for Pauline D. Rhine
PAULINE D. RHINE, 94, of Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan Center, Prophetstown, IL, formerly of Lyndon and Morrison, IL, died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the center. Pauline was born March 13, 1915 in Morrison to Roy and Margaret (Geiger) Teach. She was educated in the Morrison grade schools and attended Morrison High School. Pauline married Earl A. Rhine on January 16, 1937 in Albany, IL. He died November 10, 1993. She was employed by Climco in Morrison. Pauline was a former member of the Lyndon United Methodist Church and current member of the Morrison United Methodist Church. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Minerva Chapter #6 in Prophetstown. Pauline enjoyed horse racing and coffee time with her friends. Survivors include two daughters, Bev (Duane) VanOosten of Rock Falls, IL and Barb (Jim) Ottens of Morrison; three grandchildren, Alan VanOosten, Gary VanOosten, and Brian Johnson; one step granddaughter, Stacey Hallman; one great granddaughter, Aubrey VanOosten; and one sister, Mrs. Althea Capper of DeWitt, IA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; one step grandson, Corey Ottens; one great grandson, Christopher Alan VanOosten; one sister, Anna Bradley; and two brothers, Clifford and Lloyd Teach.
